When Veteran Chris Pozek founded his company, he did so to give back to America’s former military service members. Today, Veterans Rideshare employs veterans and their families, provides dependable, safe and flexible transportation solutions, and directly benefits our nation’s former military personnel and other charitable organizations.
Pozek shares, “I have been taking care of people since I was a Combat Medic (91B) in the Army. It is truly an honor to ‘Pay it forward’ to veterans and military families.” It is to this end that he dedicated his efforts to offering direct employment opportunities to military veterans and providing a corporate culture that openly salutes and celebrates our nation’s heroes.
Veterans Rideshare strives to offer better solutions for reaching every destination and provides non-emergency medical transport, ad-hoc shuttle service, freight options and more.
They provide rider-focused options to include special rates and fares for Veterans organizations. Pozek shares, “We offer more options than other transportation services, and uniquely, we provide the chance for every ride to give something tangible back to the military men and women who have so selflessly served.”
A portion of all fares are dedicated to non-profit, 501(c)3 Veterans organizations, and passengers have the ability to designate an organization at the end of their ride. Each passenger has the ability to select the featured organization of the month, or donate to their charity of choice.
Veterans Rideshare knows what it means to serve, and this is why the company generously gives back in numerous ways.
They have teamed up with the popular military lifestyle blog, ArmyWife101.com, to support active duty military families. “We’ve watched VRS help three military families in need. They provided money to the family of a disabled Veteran for a Thanksgiving feast, and brought an active-duty couple and their baby home so that both families could meet their new granddaughter. Most impressive was the generous $500 Christmas they provided to the family of a service member’s widow and the four grandchildren in her custody. Veterans Rideshare truly makes a difference.”
Veterans Rideshare is a business dedicated to serving our nation’s Veterans. Pozek closes with, “We strive to provide unique transportation options that will improve upon the lives, opportunities and possibilities of our passengers, our employees, and our nation’s Veterans.” To learn more about Veterans Rideshare, please visit veteransrideshare.com.
