For our employees, pay is hourly with benefits.
Become an Employee
One unique aspect to Veterans Rideshare is your ability to become an employee who is paid an hourly wage. This is a different role than a contracted employee – and Veterans Rideshare employs part-time, full-time and independently contracted employees to answer the passengers’ needs.
Becoming an employee starts with a simple online application expressing your interest. Each completed form is reviewed by our hiring team and evaluated against existing and future opportunities in the company. Please note: every employee will be subject to a detailed background appraisal that includes a fingerprint scan, full criminal background check, driving history and pre-employment drug screening.
Depending on the position for which you are hired, you will then begin training.
Payment for employees follows a more standardized hourly rate, paid on a bi-monthly basis. There are ongoing opportunities for cash stipends and bonuses based on performance. All driver appreciation bonuses are settled in the following pay period, and any bonus paid from Veterans Rideshare to the employee will be settled monthly.
