Opportunity: Veterans Rideshare, Inc. is hosting VETFEST May 17-19, 2019 in Ramona, CA. We are looking to showcase Veteran artists through a mural contest. Each painter is challenged to paint a mural of their rendition of our mission on semi truck trailers (53’ long). Veterans Rideshare Inc. will supply all of the materials.
Prizes: We are honored to give money back to the Veteran artist community and are pleased to offer three prizes:
– First prize $3,000
– Second prize $1,500
– Third prize $500
How To Participate: Submit the following items via email to [email protected] with the subject line: ARTISTIC VETERAN CONTEST.
– Please provide sample images of your work.
– Please submit a bio (include military experience).
– Please submit a photo from your time in the military.
– Please submit a current photo representing who you are as a veteran.
About VETFEST: VETFEST will be a weekend-long event of fun, appreciation, and camaraderie to honor those who have served our country. In addition to the contest, we will enjoy a BBQ, beverages, and talent show (Vets Got Talent).
